The ‘Friends’ are all residents from the area around the park - Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester 13. We work in partnership with Manchester Leisure. Currently, the group has five regular members and several others who help out when they can. More members and helpers are always welcome!

We meet once a month to look at all aspects of the development and upkeep of the park, and to plan the annual Fun Day in July. Up to 800 people come to the Fun Day, so on the day itself we need extra volunteers to help set up activities and run them, and then clear up.
