 Another Fun Day and, yet again, another day of sunshine! It was great to see the park filled with people of all ages enjoying themselves. Clowns, entertainers, crafts, face-painting, bouncy castle, stalls, sports, food and of course bingo. Music was provided by Ordsall Accapella Singers, New Lights Big Band and DJ Simon. As part of the ‘Community Clear-Up’ weekend, Swinton Grove Park was visited by a team of volunteers (including Dawn from the park’s Friends group) who picked up litter, removed graffitti and left the park looking spick and span. A big thank you to Grove Village and to all who helped.
